Our Distribution yesterday was a stark contrast to the previous one. While we enjoyed a beautiful Fall day last time, yesterday was a full-on snow storm. Yuck! Luckily we have a nice, warm indoor space for the winter.
This week I contributed for Conventional and Organic baskets, in addition to a case of Honeycrisp apples.
Now comes the fun part – deciding what to make with all this awesome produce. Even if you didn’t get a basket, you can still use these recipes with produce you purchased at the farmer’s market or grocery store – it’s all in season now, readily available and prices out very well.
I have compiled a list of recipes using Conventional & Organic basket ingredients, as well as the Honeycrisp Add-On. Be sure to check out all the categories, as there is quite a bit of “crossover” again this time. These recipes are a combination of family favorites and new recipes I would like to try. Hopefully you’ll want to try a few, too. Click on the colored recipe title to link directly to the recipes.
