Because I own basically every appliance known to mankind, today I am sharing three ways to cook a crunchwrap supreme at home – air fryer, oven and stovetop directions are included below. And if you pair it with a copycat Taco Bell Baja Blast freeze the next time you are craving Taco Bell you won’t even have to leave the house!

What is a Tostada?

Before we dive in, let’s talk about what a tostada is. It’s similar to a taco shell, but it’s a fried corn tortilla. When you grab them at the store, they are flat versus a folded taco shape. This is what gives the “crunch” in this copycat recipe.

How To Make a Crunchwrap Supreme at Home

If you aren’t using my crockpot taco meat recipe, start by browning your ground beef and drain. Then add homemade taco seasoning or a store bought packet (you may need to add some water).

Go ahead and dice the tomatoes and set aside.

To assemble your crunchwrap supreme, add some nacho cheese sauce to the middle of the burrito and top with seasoned taco meat.

Add a tostada on top with a thin layer of sour cream. Now add the lettuce, cheese, and tomatoes in that order.

Fold the tortilla inwards in a layering fashion until the burrito is closed.

Now it’s time to cook and serve. Choose the easiest method for you below.

Oven Instructions

Place the crunchwraps, folded side down, on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper. Spritz with a little oil for extra crispiness. Cook at 400 degrees F for about 10 minutes or until browned.

Stove Top Instructions

Add a small amount of oil to a pan and let it get hot. Place the crunchwrap, folded side down, in the pan and cook for several minutes, then flip to finish off.

You can cook all of them together or in batches depending on the size of your pan.

Air Fryer Instructions

Prepare the air fryer basket by spraying with a thin layer of oil (you can also use a parchment liner for easier cleanup). Add the crunchwraps folded side down, and air fry for 7 minutes at 350 degrees. Flip and finish cooking for an additional 3 minutes.

These taste best when served immediately.
