Cherry Bread with Maraschino Glaze

Maraschino Cherry Bread is an easy quick bread recipe but has all of the flavors of an old-fashioned dessert. And that sweet glaze – yum!

INGREDIENTS

– Flour – Baking soda – Salt – Sugar – Brown sugar – Egg

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Set aside.

In a medium bowl, combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar & egg until combined.

Add buttermilk, oil, vanilla, and almond extract and mix until just combined.

Slowly add the wet ingredients to the flour mixture. Gently mix until combined.

Fold in chopped cherries until evenly distributed.
