Tuna Melt Recipe

A diner classic, the Tuna Melt is a blend of creamy tuna, gooey melted cheese and crunchy toasted bread. Bake or broil, serve open-faced.

SALAD INGREDIENTS

– tuna packed in water – celery – red onion – parsley – mayonnaise – Dijon mustard – fresh lemon juice – salt and pepper to taste

SANDWICH INGREDIENTS

– bread – cheese – butter, softened – tomatoes

Place drained tuna in a large bowl. Add celery, onion and parsley and stir to mix.

Add mayonnaise, mustard and lemon juice. Stir to combine.

Build your tuna melt by layering tuna salad and cheese on toasted bread.

Bake or broil. Top with tomato slices and season with salt and pepper to taste.
