graham cracker crust

cup
lemon juice
fresh, not the stuff in the green bottle

sweetened condensed milk

teaspoon
vanilla

lemon zest
Instructions
Combine lemon juice, milk, vanilla and lemon zest in a medium bowl. Whisk until mixture thickens.
Pour into the graham cracker crust.
Chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Notes
Optional garnishes: fresh berries, lemon slices, whipped cream, lemon zest, maraschino cherries, toasted coconut or graham cracker crumbs.
Can be served frozen if preferred.
You can store leftover pie in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Best eaten the first day or two.
Leftover pie can be frozen: wrap individual slices in plastic wrap then store in a plastic freezer bag.
