These Orange Floats make a fantastic treat on a hot day. And an easy beverage idea for parties.

Ingredients

  • 1 pint Vanilla ice cream
  • 12 ounces orange soda like Fanta or Faygo

Optional Toppings

Instructions

  • Add 2 scoops of ice cream to glasses.
  • Slowly pour orange soda over ice cream. Add more soda after the fizz recedes, if desired.
  • Garnish with optional toppings if desired.
  • Serve immediately with a spoon or straw.

Notes

  • Quantities will vary based on the size of your ice cream scoop and glasses.
  • Change things up with these variations: Root Beer Floats, Coke Floats or Dr. Pepper Floats.
  • These are fun treats to serve at parties - the recipe can be doubled for larger groups. Set up a "float bar" with soda, ice cream, glasses and colorful paper straws so your guests can make their own.
