30 Minute Asian Beef Bowl
30 MINUTE ASIAN BEEF BOWL - Asian inspired flavors dress up plain ground beef in this quick dinner recipe.
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup onion chopped
- 2 cups rice cooked according to package directions
- 3 green onions chopped
Combine ground beef and onions in a pan and cook over medium heat until meat is browned & cooked through. I use this handy tool to finely crumble the meat. Drain & remove grease from pan.
While the ground beef and onions are cooking, make the sauce. Combine the sauce ingredients in a small bowl, and stir to combine.
Add sauce mixture to the cooked ground beef and stir. Simmer over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
Serve over hot cooked rice (use a rice cooker for perfect rice every time). Top with chopped green onion.
- I use 93/7 ground beef for this recipe.
- I've been using minced ginger in a tube with good results.
- Low sodium soy sauce is recommended.
