Ingredients

  • 1 pound white chocolate almond bark
  • 1 pound chocolate almond bark
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3 cups salted peanuts
  • 1 cup peanut butter chunky or smooth
  • Holiday sprinkles optional

Instructions

  • Prepare the crockpot insert by adding a liner or a light coating of non-stick cooking spray.
  • Break the almond bark into pieces and place in the crockpot.
  • Add peanut butter, peanuts and chocolate chips.
  • Cook on low for 15 minutes. Carefully remove the lid (see notes) and stir.
  • Continue cooking for 45-90 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes until the chocolate and bark have melted.
  • Line baking sheets with parchment paper, waxed paper or silicone baking mats.
  • Using a cookie scoop or 2 spoons, scoop chocolate onto prepared baking sheets.
  • If using sprinkles, add them before the chocolate sets ups. I work in batches of 6-8 pieces when adding sprinkles.
  • Let peanut clusters stand on the counter for chocolate to set. To speed up the cooling process you can place the trays in the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes.
  • Store in an airtight container in a cool place for 2-3 weeks. Will keep longer in the refrigerator.

Notes

Notes:
  • Place a kitchen towel between the crockpot lid & insert to keep condensation from dripping into the chocolate mixture when you remove the lid to stir.
  • Substitute cashews or pecans for the peanuts.
  • Add raisins or dried cranberries.
  • Make these tasty treats year round by swapping out the sprinkles colors.
  • Cook time will vary based on your slow cooker - you may need to cook a little longer or a little less.
  • We recommend making these candies on the smaller size because this candy is rich.
