Using a cookie scoop or 2 spoons, scoop chocolate onto prepared baking sheets.
If using sprinkles, add them before the chocolate sets ups. I work in batches of 6-8 pieces when adding sprinkles.
Let peanut clusters stand on the counter for chocolate to set. To speed up the cooling process you can place the trays in the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes.
Store in an airtight container in a cool place for 2-3 weeks. Will keep longer in the refrigerator.
Notes
Notes:
Place a kitchen towel between the crockpot lid & insert to keep condensation from dripping into the chocolate mixture when you remove the lid to stir.
Substitute cashews or pecans for the peanuts.
Add raisins or dried cranberries.
Make these tasty treats year round by swapping out the sprinkles colors.
Cook time will vary based on your slow cooker - you may need to cook a little longer or a little less.
We recommend making these candies on the smaller size because this candy is rich.
