This "better than takeout" Air Fryer Chicken Parmesan is the comfort food you've been searching for. Made with common ingredients, ready in just 30 minutes and crispy every time.
Set up a dredging station with 3 shallow bowls. In one bowl, mix the cornstarch and Nature’s Seasoning. In the second bowl, beat the eggs. In the third bowl, mix the panko, Parmesan and 1 tablespoon of parsley.
Coat the chicken first in the cornstarch & seasoning, then the eggs and finishing in the panko mixture, making sure to coat the pieces evenly.
Spritz the air fryer basket with a light coating of oil. Place the breaded chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Spritz chicken with oil and cook for 6 minutes.
Turn the chicken, brush on marinara, top with mozzarella cheese and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, until chicken reaches 165 degrees F.
Serve with your favorite pasta.
Notes
For best cooking results, try to keep the chicken pieces a similar size. Pound down any thick spots - thinner pieces will cook faster.
You may need to cook in multiple batches depending on the size of your air fryer basket.
Chicken parm is best eaten fresh.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
