This savory Air Fryer Chex Mix snack mix is perfect when you're craving something crunchy and flavorful. And the best part? It's ridiculously easy to make in the air fryer.
Add the Chex cereal, Cheerios, pretzels, peanuts, and oyster crackers to a large mixing bowl and stir to mix.
Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the remaining ingredients and stir until the mixture starts to boil. Remove from the heat and allow to cool for a couple of minutes.
Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees F.
Pour the seasoned butter sauce over the cereal mixture and gently toss with a spatula until fully coated.
Place the mixture in the air fryer basket and cook at 350°F for 4 minutes. Shake the mix and cook for 3 more minutes.
Remove the mix from the air fryer and cool on paper towels.
Notes
Use whatever mix of Chex cereal you prefer (rice, corn or wheat), just make sure it equals 2 cups.

Substitute the peanuts for other nuts like cashews or pecans.
You may need to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
If you like a salty-sweet mix add a cup of M&M’s or Reese’s Pieces to the mix after it’s cooled.
Oven directions: preheat oven to 250 degrees F. Place the mix on a rimmed baking sheet and bake for one hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and cool on paper towels.
