Salad

fresh fruit of your choice
like watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew melon, strawberries, pineapple, mandarin oranges, blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, kiwi, seedless grapes, pomegranate arils
Dressing

fresh lime juice

honey

lime zest

Instructions
Clean the fruits and pat dry to remove any excess moisture.
8 cups fresh fruit of your choice
Use a sharp knife to cut the fruits into bite-sized pieces, then transfer to a large bowl.
Place the lime juice, honey and lime zest in a small bowl and whisk until well combined.
½ cup fresh lime juice,
2 tablespoons honey,
2 teaspoons lime zest
Pour the dressing over the fruit and gently stir until coated.
Garnish with optional toppings if using.

Salad can be served immediately or refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow the flavors to get to know each other.
Notes
Use in-season fruit for the best flavor and freshness. Be sure to select fresh, firm fruits and avoid ones that are overly soft or past their prime.
For the best flavor use fresh lime juice instead of bottled juice.
A serving size is about 3/4 cup.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the frig for up to 3 days.
