Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F.
Cook the ground beef in a large skillet until no pink remains. Drain the grease off and discard.
1 pound lean ground beef
Add the taco seasoning and water to the cooked meat. Bring to a simmer and cook for 4-5 minutes until slightly thickened.
1 ounce taco seasoning mix packet, ⅓ cup water
Unroll the crescent dough and place individual triangles in an open circle shape on a large round pan (like a pizza stone or pan), with the narrow end facing outward. Some of the dough will overlap.
2 8-ounce tubes original crescent rolls
Spoon the cooked taco meat onto the crescent dough ring, creating a circle.
Top with shredded cheese.
1 cup shredded cheese
Fold the outer tips of crescent dough over the meat and cheese, tucking in the ends to tightly seal the circle.
Bake for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown and the dough has cooked through.
Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving with your choice of toppings.
iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, pico de gallo, taco sauce, sour cream
Notes
Cold crescent dough is easier to work with so keep it chilled until you're ready to create the ring.
You can place a 5” round bowl in the center of the baking pan and lay the dough around it to make it easier to form the ring.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Reheat at 350 degrees F in the oven or air fryer until heated through.
Optional toppings are not included in the nutritional information.
