Perfect for gifting or keeping in your pantry, this Mason Jar Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix makes baking simple, with layers of ingredients visibly stacked for a touch of charm and convenience.
For a layered presentation: carefully add dry ingredients to your jar, one at a time, in the order listed.
For a blended presentation: mix the dry ingredients in a bowl before transferring to the jar.
To Make Cookies
Prepare a baking sheet by lining with parchment paper or lightly greasing.
Place butter, egg and vanilla in a mixing bowl and mix until smooth. Reduce mixing speed to Medium and gradually add the jarred ingredients. Mix until the batter reaches cookie dough consistency.
Using a small cookie scoop, place uncooked dough balls on the prepared cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 12 minutes. Let cool on the cookie sheet for 1 minute before removing to a cooling rack to finish cooling.
