Mini Ham and Cheese Pretzel Bites with Hot Honey

You'll love this twist on traditional sliders! Soft pretzel bites are stuffed with ham and melty cheese then topped with a drizzle of hot honey butter. They’re the perfect sweet and salty appetizer for game day, parties, quick dinner or snacking.

24 mini pretzel bites I used Kings Hawaiian Pretzel Bites
6 slices cheddar cheese
9 ounces honey ham 24 slices thin-sliced
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
Slice the pretzel bites in half horizontally and place in a 9x13 baking dish.
24 mini pretzel bites
Break up the slices of cheese into pieces that fit on the pretzel bites.
6 slices cheddar cheese
Place a piece of cheese, slice of ham and another piece of cheese on each pretzel bite.
9 ounces honey ham
Top with the top half of the pretzel bite.
In a microwave safe bowl combine the butter, honey and red pepper flakes.
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, 2 tablespoons honey, 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Microwave in 30 second intervals until the butter is melted. Stir to combine.
Brush or drizzle the hot honey butter all over the sliders.
Bake for 15 minutes or until the cheese has melted.

Notes

Use your favorite cheese like pepper Jack or Swiss.
Black Forest ham can be swapped for the honey ham.
You can reduce or skip the red pepper flakes if preferred.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
