  • Vanilla extract – Gives a subtle, warm touch and makes the butter taste richer.
  • Ground cinnamon – This warm spice adds a classic flavor to the spread.

Recipe Substitutions & Variations

  • You can use salted butter – just use less or no extra salt.
  • Try swapping maple syrup for the honey if you like a maple cinnamon flavor.

Tips for Making Homemade Texas Roadhouse Butter

  • Let the butter come to room temperature before you start mixing.
  • Beat the butter with a stand mixer or electric mixer long enough to whip in some air so it turns out light and fluffy. If you’re doing this by hand it’s difficult to get the right texture.
  • Taste the butter and add more cinnamon if you like.
  • If the butter feels too soft, pop it in the fridge for a bit before serving.

Can I make cinnamon butter ahead of time?

Yes, you can make it in advance – it will store well in the fridge for several days.

What to Serve with Texas Roadhouse Cinnamon Honey Butter

Number one at the top of my list is with a batch of warm Copycat Roadhouse Rolls. It also tastes great on Spiced Pumpkin Bread with Vanilla Pudding and these Air Fryer Cornbread Muffins. In terms of your main course, make it a steakhouse classic with flank steak and a sweet potato with all of your favorite toppings.

How to Store Copycat Texas Roadhouse Butter

Keep the butter in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two weeks. Remove it from the frig a few minutes before serving so it spreads easily. If needed, you can whip it for a minute or two using a hand mixer to make it extra fluffy again.

How do I soften butter quickly?

Cut the butter into small cubes and let it sit on the counter for 20 to 30 minutes.

Why is my cinnamon butter grainy?

Graininess can occur when the powdered sugar isn’t fully incorporated or if the butter isn’t soft enough. You can beat the mixture a little longer to smooth it out.

This homemade Texas Roadhouse butter recipe is a quick, creamy spread that delivers a sweet honey cinnamon flavor everyone loves. It’s smooth, easy to whip together, and perfect for serving with warm rolls, bread, biscuits, or breakfast foods.
